From mid-April until late May, you can admire bluebells magically transforming our woodlands. Similar to the long-awaited bloom of the apple tree, they are the messenger that the winter is finally left behind and that a better season is on the way.

    Starting only a few steps away from the jetty of the Windermere Boat Cruise, this path takes you over beautiful bluebell woodlands and passes through some impressive tree formations.

    Make sure you stop at Jenkins Crag, one of the Lake District's most popular viewpoints with great views over Windermere.
